R'N'B DIVA

Anya arrived back from Volgograd this week, which I am really glad about. Now we can host parties and hang out together a lot again! For the spring concert that we were mc-ing today she transformed into R'N'B DIVA:) Really cool:)

Matvey

Matvey is a really outgoing funny boy, who goes to my church. His face expressions are priceless and I am sure he would be a treasure for any child-photographer:)

Simple White can go Bright Wild. After all, who said that men can't wear colorful clothes? So I decided to transform couple of my plain t-shirts into something more creative, and here is what I've got in the end:)
If you ever decide to do the same thing, just buy a bright-color fabric and carefully attach a piece of it to the front side of any of your old or new t-shirt. It will definitely be an eye-catcher and add a bit of oriental taste to your image:)

Today in the morning when I woke up at my friends' place, first thing I saw was lots of sunshine outside. If you know me, you know that I am practically way happier and more energetic when there is sun everywhere:) Spring is really in the air now!

Here are few pictures from my friend Dina's birthday-party. Me and Dina used to study together for 2 years in Russian-American University.

4,5 weeks till English Camp and a super-long weekend

Yesterday we had our English camp planning team' meeting where we could discuss some more aspects of the upcoming camp and have a great dinner and fellowship together. It really is stunning how fast time seems to be passing by. I can't really believe it's only 4 weeks left till the next English Camp. It is always a big and a fun project, and I look forward to see some of my American friends there soon:)
Unfortunately, the American team is gonna be smaller this year, as the financial crisis is still in the air, and there will only be about 30 Americans coming instead of regular 50-60. Well, I look forward to see those who come, especially my friends from previous years:)
I did plan to go home and get some rest after our team meeting, as I was not slleping too much throughout the week and did feel quite exhausted, but as it often happens, I ended up going to a friends' place for the night. We did play a lot of Settlers and some nerts and even went on a little car-tour around night Moscow.
Well, as a result, I didn't get much sleep again, and this whole weekend (it's goona be 3 days, as on Monday it is a holiday in Russia) I have a lot of things going on, so I might not get enough rest at all.
Ok, I have to run, there is a birthday-party tonight that I am going to, and I still didn't buy a present...

Today I had a chance to spend one more day with David, Erin and kids, and just now they left to catch their train to Tuva. I wish you guys have a safe and good trip on that train, I hope it's not gonna be very hot in there and that the ride won't seem too long and that you will make it well to your home in Siberia.
It was such a blessing to spend this week with you, and it really is hard to say good-bye for a while again.
I do plan to visit David and Erin soon in Tuva though, so that makes me feel better, and I hope the money and the circumstances will be just right and I can go visit them all in Tuva in August. And I also know that with David and Erin you pick up right exactly where you left off. Last Tuesday when they came I felt like last 1,5 years were not even there, and we just didn't see each other for a week or so.
Meanwhile, I just want you to know guys, that I love you much and my thoughts will be with you every day. I WILL SEE YOU SOON!

I really think Hudson can potentially become a singer or dancer or some kind of performer, because he just loves singing and acting, and when he knows I have my camera with me, he asks to record him on video:)

Winter Fairy-Tale

Today in the morning as I was on my way to David and Erin, I was passing by this little park and thought it looked quite beautiful with all the snow. Rarely in Moscow can you enjoy the snow, because it turns into dust and mud really quickly, and this is one of the rare moments, when snow looks beautiful. Still I am really looking forward to the spring and realy excited that I only have to wait 12 more days!

I wish we could spend more time together!

We had such a great day today, and I wish we had a lot more days together, but David, Erin and kids have to continue their way to Siberia and thus leave Moscow tomorrow night. It feels sad that we have to say good-bye for a while again. I am so thankful to God for even this short time that we can spend together, and I also keep thanking Him for sending David and Erin into my life. You guys are very special people to me.
I plan to go visit David, Erin and kids in Tuva during this coming summer (most probably in the end of August), so that means I will see you pretty soon again and finally be able to get taste of the Tuvinian culture that I already heard so much about:)
