University of Boulder Campus - Part 1

Before actually going to the city of Boulder we first visited University of Colorado Campus in Boulder. Daniel and Franca both got their first degrees here, so for them this excursion was refreshing some good memories and for me - enjoying everything around and being surprised at many things.
The territory of campus is really huge. It's amazing. It's like a separate city. I really doubt that even Moscow State University has this size of campus.

Historical Museum located on the Unversity of Boulder Campus Territory. It has several halls representing archeology, biology, paleontology, etc.

Today we went to Boulder. Boulder is one of the most expensive and high-quality cities in Colorado.
Main part of it is that there is a huge Colorado Unversity in Boulder, so the city mainly consists of well-educated high-quality people.
I was surprised to find no Mexicans around. Almost no black people. A lot of students. Healthy life-style is actively promoted. All people look so fresh, beutiful and healthy.
The whole population is around 200,000 people, but the cultural life is more saturated than it is in Denver. Every night there is at least one huge event in the city.
Well, again, everything is quite expensive. Hardly any houses cost less than million dollars.
By the way...their main shopping street in the downtown looks a lot like Arbat street or Petrovka in Moscow.

Italian dinner

Later that evening we were joined by Franca and Albert and then all 4 of us headed to the Italian restaurant to get some pasta for dinner.
The place was crowded and loud, the service, to be honest, was shitty, but the food was actually very-very tasty, so that was obviously good.

Smoking might be bad for your health...haha...

As we were relaxing in park after walking around the city, Daniel decided to try the cigar that he bought earlier that day in one of the tobacco-shops.
