Well, I am here in NYC!!! It's already my second day here and it's a real pity that I haven't found a place yet to put the pics from my camera to the computer. I've already made tons of pics, something around 500, I am totally impressed with the city and everything here.
Actually I feel more strange here than I thought I would feel. Lots of black people, lots of psychos; on the other hand, everyone seems to be so welcoming and nice; yesterday while I was going through the Broadway there were about 50 people who said hi, and some of them even wished me to have a good day (here I noticed people do it all the time, even if their day is the worst possible...). Very few of them understood that I was a tourist ( I felt good about fitting into this culture), and of those people there were 2 girls who thought I came from France. I even met some Russians here, one girl named Ksenia came to me in the subway and just started asking what were my plans and also told a lot about her own trip, she said she was in NYC for already a month and during that small period of time she changed 3 jobs!
I settled down at the NewYorker Hotel (only for 2 nights though), 1 of my neighbors is from France another guy is Russian.
Even though NYC has a lot in common with Moscow it still is so different!
2 things were the most surprising for me: first is that there are so many people working in the stores who hardly speak any English, I couldn't buy a phone card because a Chinese guy didn't understand what I wanted, second is the popularity of interracial gay couples in NYC. It looks very strange.
The thing that I like a mostly about newyorkers is that no one cares about what you wear or how you behave and all people might have their own individuality (even though sometimes it looks strange).
I am right now sitting in the NYC Public Library, which is a really gorgeous place, I only have 3 minutes before my Internet access will be over, so I say hi to those who might be reading this, and I'll try to post some pics soon.

I have never been to NYC before but I've always wanted to go, mainly just to see a show on Broadway though. I'm glad you are enjoying it so far and I can't wait to see pictures.
