Jazz fan/fun

So today me and Daniel were planning to visit the small jazz-concert in the downtown, but then plans changed a little, and we first went to a bar to get some desert. This bar is actually located in a very neat place - the Colorado Hotel (the concert was taking place at that hotel as well). One of the very few places in Glenwood where high-quality people hang out.
It is actually a place with an interesting history. Like, for example, Theodor Roosevelt stayed there for a while, and they also have a penthouse upstairs which used to belong to one of the ladies who was a passenger on "Titanic" ship.
Well...the bar was great, the cakes amd ice-cream were tasty, and I met several Russians+Ukranians working there as well. I actually met a nice girl Lusia, she is from Sudak, Ukraine, and what a nice surprise!... (how actually small is our world) - she knows two of my friends (Zhenya and Sasha Kulaga) who know live in Moscow, but originally are from Simferopol' area.
So we talked with her for a while, and it's just cool to meet someone who speaks Russian as well, because then they do some nice stuff for you. Like today she brought some free fresh juice for me and Daniel, and then as we were leaving, we actually forgot our half-full bottle of wine, so we came back 5 minutes later, but the bottle was already taken from our table, and I asked Lusia what could be done about that, and she brought us absolutely new bottle of wine and charged nothing for that. So these "quick acquaintances" might be really useful right away.
Then we moved straight to the jazz-concert which was like 2 rooms from the bar. Actually it was already ending, but we still got the opportunity to listen to 3 very beautiful songs. It's not that I am much of a jazz-fan (Daniel actually likes it much more), but still it was such a relaxation and fun. I think it was my first time on a live jazz-performance.And it really was impressive.
Erin (the singer) and her team really did a very good job.
And in the very end we even bought a CD from her, and moreover, got an autograph on it.
