New York, New York. Day 1.
>> Wednesday, June 18, 2008
It was 7pm when I landed in NYC, so by the time I got to the hostel it was already really dark. Here it gets dark much earlier - like around 9pm, it feels weird.
It was also raining hard on my way to Manhattan, so I was afraid I wouldn't be able to hang around Manhattan that day, and yet, by the time I was in the downtown, the weather changed to a really nice one.
Again, the very first evening feels kinda weird, I have a little bit of shock and maybe stress, but I am sure it's just jet-lag and in a few days I will be totally alright:)
Anyways, I spent the evening settling down in the hostel and then walking around the district. A lot of weird people around as it is usual for New York I think.

By 10:30pm I got to the movie theatre around 34th street and watched "Sex and the City" movie. NYC is just the right place to watch it. It's true I think what they claim in the movie, that a lot of people are coming to New York looking for a new love and feelings.
The movie was ok, even funny, and I really wonder if they show the same full version in Russia or will they cut out several moments...
