Arriving to Seattle

So several hours ago I arrived to Redmond; it is 20 miles from Seattle and this is where my friend Duane lives. He is actually a friend of my friends, but I am already getting acquainted with him; he is a very interesting man to talk to, and he works with the Microsoft Company so he is a great specialist.
Tonight we have a meeting with my future boss and she will explain me the details of my job that I start tomorrow.
Right now I can hear the thunder, and it's really cloudy. Looks like it's gonna start raining later tonight. Actually just did...wow! The rain is pretty hard:) Feels strange after always sunny and hot California to finally have some rain.
Duane's house is very beautiful, I like the style very much and it is very big too. It is very quiet here, so I also associate the place with a high-style British village. Really classical style and looks so good.
Ok, I'll go watch the rain now:)
