Immersing into Moscow Life again
>> Thursday, October 02, 2008
I am back in Moscow! And adjusting back to regular routine of life.
I had a long flight back, got some sleep on the planes, and arrived back in Russia on Tuesday evening. My friends and my mom met me at the airport, and I can say they were more tired than I was, haha, at least it looked that way, as once off the plane I was energetic enough to even tell them about some of my summer adventures.
No winter here in Moscow yet, even though they promised the first snow this week. Actually the days are really great, quite warm, and leaves change colors, and it's not raining, so it's just a perfect fall:)
Meanwhile, I jumped right back into my crazy rhythm of life and started universiy classes and work on Wednesday, but after 2 days of doing so I feel tired now, I guess it's a bit of jet-lag still left in my body:)
And I already think about next summer and start planning things. I really want to go to Australia next summer, but I also know it is way more expensive than going to the States, so I am not quite sure yet.
Anyway, this summer was fabulous, I had a lot of experiences. So did my friends, many of them went to the States too following my example from the past year.
So all of us are having a "welcome-back to Moscow" party on Saturday night:)
Should be a lot of fun!
Below are some pictures taken right after my landing:))
And I will put together a Summer 2008 video soon, so it's gonna be a fun review of everything that happened to me during past several months:)

Wow, already at work and school!!! Yikes! I bet you are tired!
Your mom looks great:)
Australia!!!! I love Australia. Is it really more expensive? I thought it wasn't too bad but I haven't been for a long long time. Did you know I spent two years there? Once when I was 3 and the next year was when I was 13. And I was there when I was 23? but only in the airports on the way to Papua New Guinea. I should have went this year...every 10 years:)
My dad has been many times though- he'll know people you can crash with if you needed.
Hope you adjust back to life in Moscow O.k.
What do you think you'll miss the most?
Flight tickets to Australia are really expenisve, the round-trip only will be about 3,000$!!!
but i saw the videos from there, and i really like the way people look and Melbourne and Sidney are gorgeous!
Well, yeah, if you decide to go there again, maybe we should plan on traveling together then:)
