Facebook vs. Google

Here in San-Francisco area I am staying not too far away from Palo Alto, and yesterday I was lucky enough to get invited to join the tour to Google headquarters and then Facebook campus. Both were extremely interesting to visit. I would say these companies probably do represent the model of how a successful company will look in the future. The level of liberalism is beyond imagination, and it could seem especially stunning to those, who work in Europe and Russia, where there are lots and lots of certain boundaries in practically every single work environment.
It's almost hard to describe this certain spirit and atmosphere, I guess you really have to visit yourself to embrace the sense of work freedom that both Google and Facebook managed to establish. The main thing is that they do their best for every employee to be able to enjoy the work space and feel as comfortable as possible (starting from plenty of free food and drinks and cozy lounge/rest areas to providing more upgraded benefits for every one), because obviously whoever is in charge does realize that you get the highest quality of work if you provide the highest quality of work environment.
I think this would definitely be smth interesting and controversial to introduce into Russian business-market, since most of the contemporary companies in former USSR certainly believe that you only get the best work done when you inject a lot of pressure into work environment.
