Leg #1 of Euro Trip - Finland

Here in Helsinki we are staying in the downtown hostel right next to the Olympic Stadium that was built in 1952 for the summer Olympics.
The city is very nice and enjoyable except for a few BUTs:
- most of the people speak three languages - Finnish, English and Russian. However, most of them have a lot of unnecessary attitude. I am not sure, whether it is just towards Russians, or towards foreigners in general;
- no one seems to bother as much as to clean the streets from snow - in the end you get snowy and slippery roads. Today I fell hard on it twice;
- tram drivers don't seem to care much about pedestrians, and they wouldn't stop if you're crossing the tram rails;
- despite the dry law in Finalnd there are SO MANY drunk people around. Yesterday I was wondering why they use vans for police cars, and not just regular cars. Now I know - this way they can get bunches of drunkards at the same time. Long story short, police guys always have work to do))))
