Turku, Finland
>> Monday, January 03, 2011
Today we spent the day in Turku, Finland. I drove us there in the morning, and let me tell you - driving in Europe is one huge pleasure. Roads are in a great condition.
Later on in the evening we came to the Turku port to board a ferry-ship to Stockholm. The word "ferry" doesn't really describe this ship properly. It's probably the size of Titanic, and it's extremely great. We just had a great dinner with caviar, shrimps, wine and other tasty pleasures and now are spending the night here on the ship. This is by the way the first time I am ever traveling on the ship the size of a 10-store building and with a separate room of mine.
If you want to see the ship, go check it out at www.vikingline.fi website.
Tomorrow we'll be touring Stockholm and then we'll be making our way to Kopenhagen. Meanwhile, enjoy some pics from Turku.
