Tim, Cara and me. All together on Californian beach after 3 months of being away from each other.

What a wonderful re-union!!!
So I was missing my friends Tim and Cara very much and was really looking forward to meeting them this summer! We met 3 months ago in the English Camp and became really close friends, so when we agreed on meeting this Friday I was all excited about the coming fun!
Tim, Cara and her mom picked me up on their car at my place around noon, and we headed straight to the ocean. It was so much fun on the way, as we were catching up on our lives, talking, joking, and even comparing the level of sun-tan on our skin.
When we came to the ocean, we took all the necessary supplies for the beach fun, and it was really a lot of fun swimming in the water, playing frisbee, jumping on the waves, and walking along the shore, watching the rocks and sand and weird things on sand:)
Then we ate some chicken with Root Beer, and drove to Cara's place. We picked up her 13-year old brother Devin on the way; he was spending the previous night at his friend's house. He turned out to be a really fun guy, a lot like Cara, and very easygoing and positive. I love when people are positive and they kind of bring fresh energy into you as well!
As we entered Cara's house, I met her dad, Michael, he is a very outgoing and great man as well, with a great sense of humor, he made me laugh a lot of times during our 3 days-weekend.
Then I took the shower after the ocean, it felt great, and then we all gathered for a dinner. Michael prayed in English and I prayed in Russian. It really felt to me like a family dinner or something like that, because there are situations in life when you meet people for the first time, like I met Cara's parents, and still you feel so comfortable around them and really happy that you are where you are.
Kebra, Cara's mom, is a really wonderful cook, and I just realized it even more during following days, the dinner was wonderful and very yummy.
After the dinner it was already 8pm, so me and Cara headed to Cara's friend birthday party, but about that in the next post...

Here we are comparing our sun-tan on our hands, not hard to guess whose hand is where, though it actually seems that my tan is a little darker than Tim's. Of course, Cara beats us both, because she is in the water-polo team, and so she is outside and in the sun most of her time.

Mormon Temple that we saw on our way to the ocean.

Black&white version of three of us. I love you, Cara and Tim!

Tim and Cara. Romantic mood.
