Washington Landscapes: don't they look like England to you?
>> Thursday, July 03, 2008
As I mentioned before, the landscapes here in Washington are very different. I really feel myself, like I am somewhere in England, in a nice quiet British village. It rains a lot here, there are mostly forests and trees everywhere (no wonder, Washington goes for the Evergreen State), life has a slow smooth rhythm, people are very different from California, they look and behave way more like Europeans. I guess I like the difference actually, even with the rains. Yesterday it was raining hard, we had a lot of thunder and lightning.
Anyway, I am really enjoying my trip so far, because during last couple weeks I already visited so many different places and saw a lot of different nature-scenes:)
