Extreme hiking to the top of the mountains

Today me and Daniel went hiking high in the mountains above Glenwood Springs.
(So these are our silhouettes on the picture above).
The path was quite difficult, but the tour was worth it, as there were a lot of cool views around and so we made a lot of pictures.
By the way, we only met 3 other people during the whole way. I wondered if it was because it was Wednesday, or because it is so hard to find the path even with the car and map in your hands. At least, it took a while for us.
Oh, and also...it was around +27C today. Hot...especially knowing that it is only +8C right now back in Moscow.
I don't want to come back...

I am glad that Daniel likes posing for the pictures. I enjoy posing as well. So I told Daniel that probably some day we have to start our own magazine...?... With a lot of cool pictures in it. I like the idea...

Some latest news from the Adventure Park: today as I was riding up, I recognized that all employees were standing outside and no one was actually in our main building. So as I approached the spot, I was told that someone broke in at night, the gift-shop was robbed and they even tried to break the safe with all the cash which they finally didn't manage to do.
So we were not supposed to touch anything before the sheriffs came.
Then the police came and it was all like in a real detective-movie: the policeman was asking me what is my position in the gift-shop, what I was doing the previous night and other questions like these.
Then we spent half-day cleaning the place because it was all damn messed up, and then next half-day selling stuff in the shop for credit-cards only, because we couldn't get the cash drawers from the safe as it was absolutely broken.
Every other customer was asking me what happened, and add to that the fact that we had yellow stripes in several places like those crime-scene stripes, so some customers were even wondering if someone was killed on the viewing deck.
I don't care that much about park at all, but at least now they are taught a very good lesson: that all things, like attractions, alarm-system, etc., etc. have to be improved and sort of kept up-to-date. Otherwise...shit like this will be happening.
Well, the best part of the day was as always in the evening. I came to Daniel and then we headed out to one of the restaurants to get a nice dinner and just spend some good time. Food turned out to be not very tasty, but expensive as it sometimes happens; however, the place was nicely-decorated with some pictures that they are by the way even trying to sell:

Daniel, however, told that he wouldn't take any of those home even if they were free, but as for me I liked some stuff. Like these, for example: (at least, appropriate for a restaurant, that's what I think)

Back from Denver, but still on vacation!

Well, we came back from Denver yesterday late evening, but thanks God today I have another day off. So I can get more rest. That was great vacation. Probably, the best I've ever had. Even though it was short, we got to do so many things, visit different places, and I really got tons of cool impressions.
I am actually lucky because I got rid of all the difficult working days during this Labor Day holiday, and from now on work won't be as difficult, as soon as starting tomorrow park will be closing at 6pm every day.
Daniel has to work today unluckily, but while he is in pharmacy, I am spending my day in his apt drinking a lot of green tea, checking e-mails, updating blog and doing other stuff. So...I have something like 12 more hours of total relaxation. And then...3 more weeks here.

After 2,5 months of living in Glenwood it was so great to finally find myself in a normal shopping-mall.

As Daniel and Franca are originally Italians they were showing me around some Italian places in Denver. This is Italian Gelato cafe. Gelato is like ice-cream, but has a different consistency. Actually, the taste is very good.
By the way, there are around 50,000 Italians in Denver. So America proves to be a real melting pot.
Next week there will be Italian culture festival in Denver.

On the way back from Boulder to Denver we were caught by a very hard rain. But I really like rains. Plus rains are not that often in Colorado, so some raining is always very refreshing.

Something better? Sure...

When Daniel told me that we are going to get food for dinner in Whole Foods Market, my first thought was that it might be some shitty place like WalMart or Auchan. It was mostly the name of the store that made me think so.
Hm...well, the store actually surprised me a little, because it turned out to be the most well-decorated grocery store, I've seen in Colorado so far.
